Thank you to all the volunteers that came out to help with the Treasure Market from May 6 – 8th. Thank you for all the donations of items for the Treasure Market, the delicious pies and desserts and the wonderful Raffle Prizes. We had a very successful market. The plan is to have a Treasure Market every second year so watch out for more information about the next one in 2027.
But hold on, while we did manage to sell over three quarters of the items dropped off for the Treasure Market, there were lots of boxes and bags of kitchenware, clothing and linen that did not sell. The Treasure Market committee signed up for a fundraiser called "FunDrive" which will take the remainder of the unsold items and pay St. Mary's Parish for the unsold goods by weight.
So if you did not get an opportunity to bring all of your "Treasures" to the market the first week of May, we are still collecting donations until June 4, at 10 AM (see the attached flyer). You have NOT missed the opportunity to clean out one more closet or one more kitchen cupboard before this fundraiser for 2025 is over.
